Over the years Bridgend Male Choir has had the privilege of sharing the concert platform with both local and international choirs, musicians, singers and presenters including a few world famous artists.

(2014) Côr Meibion Llanelli
was formed in the village of Bynea under the baton of the late Denver Phillips BA. in 1964. The choir has been successful at all the major choral competitions that Wales has to offer. The Llanelli Male Choir has graced many leading auditoriums, concert halls and cathedrals in the land and has travelled extensively throughout the world – Germany, Canada, USA. France, Ireland, Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. The choristers have thousands of pounds for charities such as Cancer and Leukaemia Research, The Red Cross, Heart Foundation and Tenovus as well as local charities and school groups.

(2014) Parti Llwchwr
was formed in 1955 by the late Meira Rees and since those days the choir has enjoyed a fair bit of success. The ‘Parti Llwchwr’ ladies have flown the flag for West Wales in the prestigious televised Côr Cymru (Choir of Wales) competition in 2011 and more recently in 2015 when the grand final was held at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre where they were the ‘People’s Choice’ and won the telephone vote on the night. There was a further feather in the choir’s cap as musical director Janet V Jones won the best conductor prize.

(2017)Lewis Merthyr Band
Founded in 1880, Lewis-Merthyr Band is the oldest brass band in South Wales' Rhondda Valleys. Originally known as the Cymmer (Porth) Colliery Band, Lewis-Merthyr adopted its present title in 1949. The band has been highly successful in competition throughout its history, becoming Champion Band of Wales, Welsh League Champions, Miner's Welfare Entertainments (CISWO) Champions and more.

(2015) Laurence Long
a classical pianist Laurence Long is a Kent prodigy, and having won all three of the Medway Young Musician of the Year competitions, gave an accomplished performance which belied his age of 19 years.

(2009) Hannah Vivian-Byrne
Bridgend teenager, Hannah graduated, around 2014, from The Royal Welsh College of Music in and Drama with a First Class Honours degree in Jazz vocals and performance. Singer/songwriter Hannah Vivian-Byrne grew up immersed in music. Early exposure to Eva Cassidy, Joni Mitchell, Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald introduced the budding singer to a wide range of singing styles; from folk to jazz and blues. These early influences shaped Hannah's style and stayed with her throughout her studies and early career.

(2004) Martin Lloyd
Dunvant-born bass-baritone has appeared with many South Wales male voice choirs. His own success in competition underlines the quality of his singing, winning the Baritone solo at the National Eisteddfod in 1998, Bass solo in 1999, 2000, and 2004, where he also won the prestigious Blue Riband. Martin has sung alongside the choir once before, at the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea raising money for the charity ‘Guide Dogs for the Blind’.

(2004) Samantha Worgan
hails from Aberkenfig, In 2004 Samantha was a 6th form pupil at Archbishop McGrath Comprehensive School, Ynysawdre and her wish was to pursue a career in singing. Under the tutoring of Patricia O’Neil, she has gone on to sing at weddings and Church services and competed at the Welsh National Eisteddfod. In 2003 Samantha won the Vale of Glamorgan Singer of the Year Competition. This was Samantha’s first engagement with a choir.

(1982) Gropius Choir, Berlin
a mixed choir of about 40 singers and belong to both the music school Berlin-Neukölln and the Berlin Choral Association. In 2014 the choir celebrated it's 40th anniversary.
